Leszno was first mentioned in historical documents over six hundred years ago and is situated between Poznan and Wroclaw. Good road and rail links make this most attractive town easily accessible from any part of Poland.

    There are numerous tourist attractions in the region such as castles. palaces, manor houses, churches and windmills. The most outstanding historical buildings include the town hall and St Nicolas church in Leszno, the castle and windmill, Rydzyna, the palace in Pawkowice and the monastery complex in Lubin. .

    The countryside around Leszno also offers excellent opportunities for relaxation and exploration with two scenic parks, several nature reserves and educational trails though the famous Przemet scenic park nature reserve, known as the Lily of the Valley Island is proving one of the main attractions for visitors.

    The area is also well known for its cycling, thanks to an extensive network of cycle paths. Cycling trails have been marked leading through the most beautiful areas of Leszno countryside. Woods, meadows and forest trails also offer facilities for horse riding holidays.
